About Werdum
The neat health resort Werdum is surrounded by fields and green meadows. The coast with North Sea resort Neuharlingersiel is not far.
A lot is offered to guests in the traditional village - the chief castle, the St. Nicolai church or the Erdholländer windmill with the historically newly built forge.
There are culinary delights in the cafes, restaurants and of course in the coastal brewery.
If you like it more active, visit the mini golf course at "Ankerplatz".
Various sports offers, such as horse riding, a fitness trail for adults, an extensive network of cycle paths and certified Nordic walking routes complete the active program.
Another attraction in Werdum is the centrally located Pet Park. In the "Ark Park", which is unique at the North Sea coast, you can get to know rare endangered animal breeds from all over the world.
The modern Kneipp hall is also unique. Together with the fitness trail for adults, a Kneipp barefoot path, a Kneipp taut meadow as well as the herb garden and the arm bath in the Pet Park, almost all of the five pillars of Kneipp's teaching can be experienced in Werdum.
